as of, 10/25/25:
This game is very fun, and it has such a unique concept ive only seen done a few times. However, it could use some serious QoL and accessibility options, as well as minor gameplay tweaks and bug fixes.
For starters, i really wish the camera had the ability to zoom in and out, with how close the camera is the FOV felt very cramped, and i wish there was something akin to Atlyss to toggle the "crunchiness" (pixelization) of the graphics because i found myself having a very hard time navigating the map and discerning depth, which obviously was made 10x more difficult because of the lack of FOV slider.
Another thing is the intense difficulty spike, that is straight up unfair, at the start timing your inputs to the music was easy to learn but then the game just throws you into very intense timing and dodging while giving you no time to learn, and the boss fight's timing is just inhuman.
Also there is a very annoying bug where custom tracks will keep re-starting to the point where you have the same track playing 6 times at once and all of them are out of sync.
That being said, this is still a very fun game and it took skill and a very creative outlook to make, i still highly recommend this game, i really hope the dev do not abandon this project, because id love to see it cleaned up and put on steam, id buy it in a heartbeat!
hats off to the dev
this game is really good, but even after the patch the way it handles enemy introductions is unkind. it immediately introduces new enemies into groups with old ones without having you ease into fighting the new ones first. the orange bars are incredibly hard to hit because there seems to be a cooldown between parrying and hitting, and this becomes a problem for newer players who immediately need to learn them alongside the yellow bars. also please let us skip the tutorial unless im missing something that lets you do that </3
Really fun game, however, there is a bug where the custom song plays twice, and the audio is unsynchronised
i adore this game concept, like the fire ants are at first absolutely unfair getting used to, but man they are fun to interweave attacks between.
I would love to buy a full version of this someday on steam, even if its change are just like 2 more enemies and like 2 recolored interiors.
biggest critique i have is that the dodge only goes forward and doesnt follow movement direction, so the electric ants are best taken care of when spacing and not interweaving between dodging them to the left or right or up or down.
the biggest point also here is that when performing special inputs the enemy attack indicators disappear so i cant get ready for blocking after doing the spin-attack.
-Spoiler-
the subversion of the boss also going to fully auditory info qtes is such a nice conversion of gameplay, thats an amazing idea.
just love it
